It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Doucette (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Velda Doucette (Crosby); his daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie Doucette; and his parents, Loran Doucette and Helen Doucette (Goudey).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his daughters, Victoria Keeping (Jeremy), Jessica Mackay (Robert) and Shawna Doucette (Riley); his grandchildren, William, Dominic, Phoenix, George and Amarah; his stepgranddaughters, Julia and Autumn Keeping; his stepchildren, Trish and Daniel Melanson; his son Alexander Hovey; and his friend John Campbell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
