He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Phil Hurlburt and Elva "Joyce" Hurlburt (Duncanson); his brothers-in-law, Larry, Lee, Glenn and Michael; and his father-in-law Neil Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Jo; his children, Gregory (Bree) and Haley (Francis) of Amirault's Hill; his grandchildren, Elias, Olivia, Adelaide, Abbie-Gail, Roland and Travis; and his siblings, Elaine (Graydon), Daphne (Paul), Wanda (Melery), Helena (John), Beverly (Kevin), Heather, Bonnie (Fraser) and Ricky (Corinne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Western Nova Scotia Exhibition or the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund.
