She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Murphy and Loran Murphy; her husband Felton Atkinson; her son Joseph Atkinson; and her brothers, Thomas and Billy Murphy.

She is survived by: her son Claude Atkinson (Tiffany); her granddaughters, Julie, Autumn and Katie Atkinson; her daughter-in-law Karen; her grandsons, Cory and Tim; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Lexi and Jordyn; her siblings, Marilyn Wallace, Claire Murphy, Stella Anthony, Roland, Edward, Milton and George Murphy; and her caregiver Nadine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
