It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Elaine Nickerson in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Ross (Crowell) and Captain Charles Ross; and her sister Marilyn Nickerson (late Stirling). She is survived by: her stepmother Marjorie Ross (Atkinson); her children, Charlet Rouzes of Clark's Harbour, Maureen Nickerson (Brian), Woods Harbour and Morris Nickerson (Isabel) of Sylvan Lake, AB; her grandchildren, Joseph (Shelby), Rhylie, Stephanie and Nathan; her great grandchildren, River-Lyn, Theodore, Alydia, Casen and Aida Mae; and her sisters, Blanche O'Connell (Rahn) and Mindy Ross (Darren Madu). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, brothers in law and sisters in law.
