She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Goudey (Prime) and Edward Goudey; her brother-in-law Robert Goudey (Bob); and her nephew Richard Goudey. She is survived by: her significant other Karl Smith of Halifax; her son Barry Porter of Calgary; and her siblings, Joyce Goudey of Hebron, Roy (Debra) of Brazil Lake, Gary (Esther) of Brazil Lake and Earl (Elizabeth) of Brazil Lake. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brazil Lake Wesleyan Church or charity of choice.
