Joyce Lillian Vacon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Lillian Vacon of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsay Ryerson and Annie Ryerson (Baker); her husband Daniel; her brothers, Bobby, Buddy and Brian Ryerson; her son-in-law Henry Boudreau; and her great grandchild Daniel Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Nickerson (David), Patricia Boudreau (Perry Muise) and Jacqueline Kelly (Bob); her grandson Daniel Jr. (Melanie); her sister Linda Ruttan; her grandchildren, Zach Deveau, Kyle Nickerson, Justin Boudreau and Brandi Hubbard; and her great grandchild Allison Dupuis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to M.A.D.D Canada or the Liver Foundation.
