He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry McCormack and Florence McCormack (Deveau); his daughters, Anne Thibeau and Joyce Mills; his siblings, Roger, Ivan, Dorothy, Maizie, Naomi and Barbara; and his former life partner Connie Smith (Cook).

He is survived by : his close friend Lorraine Comeau; and his children, Faye LeBlanc (late John), Debbie McCormack (Gary Surette), Sheila McCormack, Karen McCormack, John McCormack Jr. and Roger McCormack (Shelly). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
