She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Penney and Aurelia Penney (Smith); her son Kevin Ritchie; and her siblings, Marsden, Stanley, Clyde, Lesley, Howard, Clinton, Clayton, Betty, Arlene, Irva, Doreen, Marilyn and Genevive.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Ritchie; her siblings, Anderson (Valerie), Jessie, Sarah and Beverly (Jean); and her children, Wayne (Myra), Randy (Cindy), Gary (Gisselle), Scott (Angel), Curtis (Marie), Karen (Anthony), Marlene (Masanao) and Peter (Fern). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church Friday.
