She was predeceased by: her father Everett Atkinson; and her sister Barbara Porter. She is survived by: her mother Gladys Atkinson (Bower); her children, Dawn Messenger (Perry), Corrie Bain and Devin Gallagher (Heather); her sisters, Alberta Bain, Anna Cosman (George) and Ruby Miller; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Sydney, Shelby and Jesse. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
