James Anthony Amiro Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Anthony Amiro (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Amiro and Audrey Amiro (Nickerson); and his wife Emily Amiro (Nickerson). He is survived by: his siblings, Burton, Larry Amiro, Maureen Mansell (Amiro), Irvin, George Amiro and Florence Maynard (Amiro).
