She was predeceased by: her brother Joel Hopkins. She is survived by: her parents, George Hopkins and Mary Hopkins (Lutrzykowski); her husband Jeff Hipson; her daughter Brooke-Lyn Hopkins; her brothers, Nathan (Heidi) and Jesse; her nieces and nephews, Ciara, Cami, Julius, Eva, Tate and Madelyn; and her pets, Potato and Bella. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Memorial Chapel (Barrington, NS). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woods Harbour Wesleyan Church (7225 3 Highway, Lower Woods Harbour, NS B0W2E0).
