He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren and Irene (Thurber); his siblings, Kathryn (Gerald Doucette), Elaine (Max Mood) and Donald (Helen); and his daughter-in-law Tracey (Alastair) of Toronto.

He is survived by: his wife Ansonia Gray of Liverpool; his sons, Colin Liverpool (Mary Lou) and Alastair; his grandsons, Jason (Kayla) and Joel Markdale (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Blake of Ontario, Harper of Ontario and Lincoln of Ontario.
