She was predeceased by: her parents, Kris Skaarland and Theresa Olson-Skaarland (Aadland); her daughter-in-law Wendy Skaarland; and her brothers, Gordon, Oliver and Kenneth Olson.
She is survived by: her son Bryan Skaarland; her grandchildren, Jason Murphy (Chelsea Berry) and Mandy Jackson (Drew); her great grandchildren, Forrest, Harrison Murphy and Emma Jackson; her sister-in-law Hazel Olson; her nephew Kenn Olson; her niece Georgene Nash (Ted); and her close friends, Merle, James Fevens and Georgia McKinnon.
