She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Spinney; her son Barry; her parent Lillian Harding (Hopkins); and her daughter-in-law Nina. She is survived by: her children, Thelma (Roy), Arley Spinney (Sharon) and Allen Spinney. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Argyle-Pubnico Baptist Church (4554 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Glenwood, NS B0W1W0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
