She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Heman James Hobbs; her children, Gary (Ella), Barrington, Bruce (Susan), Raynardton and Sherry Hobbs; her granddaughters, Laura Goodwin (Rob), Sarah Goudey (Andrew) and Grace; and her great grandchildren, Maeve, Murphy and Sully.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Glenwood Hall, Glenwood.
