He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nickerson and Ethel Nickerson (Amero); his daughter Roberta Jo (Florida); his siblings, Harry, Charlie, Martha Brannon, Pauline Cottreau, Margaret Bain, Gladys Tougas and June Stanley; his nephews, Georgie, Harold and Dale; his niece Shelley; and his great-nephew Brent.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri Coldwell; his children, Naomi Nickerson, Timothy (Rochelle) and Bryce; his siblings-in-law, Bob Tougas and Mary Nickerson; and his grandchildren, Keegan (Jaiden), Kallum, Jared, Ethan, Eva, Jonas and Levi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association, Yarmouth Wesleyan Church or Samaritan's Purse.
