We bid farewell to Agnes Madeline Potter in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Agnes Madeline touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Pictou and Elizabeth Pictou (Labrador); her husband Oscar; and her siblings, Jeanette (Farrell) and Alex (Pictou).
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine (Tony) of Bear River, Mary Ann of Bear River, Donald of Winnipeg, Chief Carol Dee of Bea River, James of Digby and Krista (Greg) of Greenland; and her grandchildren, Cory, Melanie (Rick), Melissa, Chelsea, Devon, Quentin, Carol Ann, Royden (Janelle), Cody (Toni), Cassidy, Jordan and Karlee (Noah). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jayne's Funeral Home (7 Birch St, Digby, NS B0V 1A0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bear River First Nation Heritage and Cultural Center (194 Reservation Rd, Bear River, NS B0S1B0).
