He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Pemberton and Winnifred Pemberton (Lyon); his stepson Charles Wood; his brothers, David and Gordon; and his sister-in-law Lois.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Jacklyn Ward (Dave), Ian Pemberton (Cristie), Suzanne Wilson (Matthew) and Scott Pemberton; his stepson James Wood (Kayla); his grandchildren, Henry Ward, MacKenzie Pemberton, Andie Pemberton, Eleanor Wilson, Felix Wilson, Deacon Wilson and Mateya Pemberton; his stepgrandchildren, Savannah, Mason, Dylan, Myia and Peyton; his siblings, Marilyn McNutt (Doug), Ross (Linda), Charles (Elaine), Doug (Juliette) and Jim (Marlyn); and his sister-in-law Alice Pemberton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephew and extended family.
A private family service by invite only will be held in Maplewood Cemetery (Masks and social distancing will be required) and a public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
