He was predeceased by: his brother Johnny Dearman; his brother-in-law Reid Leary; and his father Robert "Rob" Whitehead. He is survived by: his daughter Joanna (Tim McNeille); his wife Ruth Dearman (Frost); his children, Alan Wallace (Karen Moore), Kathy (Howard Chandler) and Leminster; his grandchildren, Jamie Chandler, Kelly Chandler and Alan Chandler (Odessa White); his siblings, Maurice Dearman (Walton), Gordon Dearman (MacKay Section), Owen Dearman (Debbie) of Grimsby, ON, Peter Dearman (Laura) of Beansville, ON, Frank Dearman (MacKay Section), Lucille McDow (Leonard Hughs), Margaret Swinamer (Victor "Bun"), Clara Leary and Marion Gourley (Ray) of Surrey, BC; and his siblings-in-law, Brayden "Butch" McDow, Marilyn Dearman of Windsor, ON, Ella Dearman and Cess Dearman. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
