He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Withers and Mary Withers (Stone); his sister Joan; and his wife Eileen Mahoney. He is survived by: his children, Paul (Judy Myrden) and Carolyn (Andy Heard); his stepchildren, Sarah Bennett (Keith) and Adam Mahoney (Kendra); his granddaughters, Ellen, Clare Withers and Emma Mahoney; and his sisters, Lynn, Faith and Colleen Murphy.
