With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Joan Johnson (Windsor, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 2, 2018 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Frederick Johnson. She is survived by: her parent Frances Johnson (Carson); her children, Donald Brightman Jr., Brian Brightman (Alicia) and Peggy Brightman-Hebb; her grandchildren, Darrell Brightman, Duane Brightman, Melissa Brightman, Courtney Brightman, Kelsey Brightman and Brett Brightman; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Melanie Gallie, Melody Gallie and Joshua Gallie; and her great grandchild Brenda Brightman.

Donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
