Russell Eaton Bent Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Eaton Bent (Windsor, Nova Scotia), born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Russell Eaton is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Russell Eaton's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bent and Edith Bent (Whalen); and his siblings, Blanche, Lemuel, Waldon and Walter.

He is survived by: his brother Charles (Frances); and his nieces, Theresa Salsman (Carl) and Kathy Bent-Lake (Donnie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donations in memory of Russ may be made to a charity of one's choice.
