She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurie Young and Leta Young (Card); her husband Bob; her sister Juanita Gallant; her granddaughter Traci Cochrane; and her brothers, Winton Young, Fred Young and Bob Young.

She is survived by: her children, Jocelyn (Cochrane), Loran (Beth) of Burlington, NS and Blair (Louise); her grandchildren, Ian, Meg, Lindsay and Lisa; and her sister Hazel Harvey of Windsor, NS. She is also survived by 5 greatgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
