He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Evan and Ethel Mae Spence (MacLeod); his siblings, Eric, Robert (Rose), Frank Jr. Spence and Dorothy Howard (Gene); and his brother-in-law Percy Woodman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ernest (Sylvia), Joan Woodman, Shirley Anne McCabe (Gary), Faye Taylor (Fred) and Leola Spence. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
