He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Patterson (Hergett); his siblings, Laurie, Eric, Owen, Marie and Leta; and his grandchildren, Emily and Jason.
He is survived by: his father Arthur Patterson; his sister Gladys; his children, Gloria (Jim), Garnet (Judy), Brian (Carolyn), Terry (Donna), Kevin (Alice) and Robin (Wendy); his stepdaughters, Blanche and Bea; his grandchildren, Elaine, Darrel, Loretta, Lydia, Corey, Ashley, Jessica, Laura, Eddie, Joel, Brett and Melanie; and his stepgranddaughter Heather. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
