We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2021, at the age of 86, Phyllis Doreen MacDonald (Windsor, Nova Scotia), born in New Ross, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Edward and Sadie Leopold (Hirtle); her husband Roland MacDonald (Rollie); her children, Welsley and Paulette; her siblings, Maxine Leopold, Joyce Rafuse (Sheldon), Kathleen Collins (Floyd), Freddie Leopold (Marjorie) and Max Leopold; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Leopold, Willard "Bill" Wile, Earl MacDonald and Fred MacDonald (Bessie); her son-in-law James Burns; and her parents-in-law, Fred and Margaret MacDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Clark, Myles (Janet), Roger (Linda) and Wanda Burns; her siblings, Erma Wile, Windsor Forks, Jeanie Jollymore (Foster), William Leopold (Vivian) and Robert Leopold; her children-in-law, Pam Caldwell and Brian Moore; and her sister-in-law Winnifred MacDonald. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A private family memorial service (By Invitation Only) will be held 2 p. m. Sunday, March 14, 2021 in Lindsay's Funeral Home Chapel (Face Masks and Social Distancing will be required).
