She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alfred and Doris Harriett Shay (Spicer); her son Carl; and her siblings, Marguerite Young, Connie Stephens, Claire Rick, Nancy Mosher, Alfred "Chum", Douglas and William "Billy" Shay.
She is survived by: her children, Kim (Bill), Pam (Medora) and Richard Fletcher (Amanda); her grandchildren, Ally (Jamie), Tristan, Brandon (Katie), Chass (Chantz) and Allanah (Robert); her great grandchildren, Ember, Noah and Elliot; and her sister Carol Caldwell.
