She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Raymond Benedict and Kathleen Agnes Benedict (Baxter); her siblings, Gary Benedict, Gloria Gormley, Marilyn Symms, Sharon Benedict and Andrea Benedict; her sister-in-law Carol Benedict; and her friend Judy Newcombe.
She is survived by: her children, Sheri Lynne Dearman (Mike) of Gypsum Mines, Leona Lucinda Dearman (Clint) of Alberta and Shannon Patrick Dearman of Aberta; her grandchildren, Evan G. Patrick Mosher, Justin Scott Cruickshank (Autumn), Colby Robert Jackson Brewster and Tristen Chelsie Carrier (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Quinn Morrisseau and Khione Carrier; and her siblings, Dawn McCulloch (Curtis), Brian Benedict (Vera), Gerald Benedict (Debbie) and Lynn Benedict. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Patricia be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Box 245, Halifax, NS B3J 3R4.
