It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Murray Joseph Slaunwhite (Windsor, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Slaunwhite and Helen Slaunwhite (Barrie); his former wife Patricia (Northup); his brother Leonard "Bub"; his sister-in-law Emily; and his daughter-in-law Wanda.

He is survived by: his wife Agnes (Power); his children, Barry, Carman (Sherry), Stephen, Jason (Heather) and Amanda Slaunwhite (Devin); his siblings, Ronald and Sandra Shortell (Edward); and his sister-in-law Fay. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, as well as many special nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will occur once COVID-19 restrictions permit.
