It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marina Carmichael (Windsor, Nova Scotia), born in Walton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Burgess and Leila Burgess (MacLellan); her stepfather Clifford Patterson; her husband Carl C. Carmichael; her siblings, Julia Wile, Lilly Merritt, Peggy MacDonald, Frank and Harris "Bob" Burgess; and her half-brother Leslie "Les" Patterson.
She is survived by: her son Jamie; her sisters, Edna Porter and Elsie Hartlin; her half-brother Blaine Patterson; her nephew Russell Burgess; her great-nephew James; her friends, Harden and Donna Wile; and also, Claire and Chloe.
