Marguerite Joyce Spicer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Joyce Spicer of Windsor, Nova Scotia, born in Newport, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Trethewey and Muriel Trethewey (Marsh); her son Michael Wayne Spicer; her siblings, Edna, Connie MacDonald and Al MacKinnon; and her brothers-in-law, Danny Bonang and Bill Foley.

She is survived by: her children, Christine "Teena" Crane (Lewis) and Robert "Bob" (Lori); her sisters, Faye Bonang, Newport Corner, Donna Foley and Spryfield; her sister-in-law Jennie MacKinnon (Spryfield); her brother Blaire MacKinnon (Brenda) of Ellenvale, ON; her grandchildren, Shawn, Nathan, Shelby, Timothy, Nicholas and Jaime; and her great grandchildren, Brody, Cole, Caleb, Lily, Scarlett and Soren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in memory of Peggy, to the Kings County SPCA or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
