She was predeceased by: her parents, Medford Coolen and Ermie Coolen (Wile); her sister Carol Churches; and her brothers-in-law, Cliffe Churches and Joseph VanDervender.

She is survived by: her husband James "Scotty"; her children, Christopher (Kaila) and Nicole; and her siblings, Gerald Coolen (Maggie), Judy VanDervender and Norah Keenan. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
