She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Pitts and Bessie Pitts (Walsh); her husband Garnet Underwood; and her siblings, Florence, Bessie "Betty", Phyllis, Faye, James, Richard, Lawrence and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Edward MacDonald (Jen Davison) and Melissa Benjamin; her stepson Gary Underwood (Michelle); her grandchildren, Brandon MacDonald (Andrew), Kitara and Caelum Benjamin; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Hope; her siblings, Audrey Faulkner, Mary Faulkner (John), Noreen Murphy (Norman) and Gary Pitts (Marion); and her niece Shelly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
