He was predeceased by: his parents, Andries Frans Joseph and Philomena May Hoogerwerf (Schump); and his siblings, Johannes'Joe'Hoogerwerf, Magdalena'Babe'Rayfuse and Nellie Hiltz.
He is survived by: his children, Becky (Don Burry), Susan (Reed Spencer), Sean (James Lane) and Andrew (Michelle Hoogerwerf); his stepchildren, Angela (Rob Gallagher) and Larry Walker; and his sister Adriana "Audrey" Slocum.
