She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Donald Dill and Lillian Dill (Goodwin); her husband Eric Burgess; her granddaughter Michaela Hartt; her brothers, Fred Goodwin and Ronald Newell; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Thompson, Tom Thompson, Arthur Chambers, Howard Burgess, Harley Burgess and Norman Foley.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Burgess (Shobha) and Sherri Hartt (Stephen); her daughter-in-law Donna Rice; her grandchildren, Andrew (Nakita), Justin (Sarah), Dillan Hartt (Breanna), Kyle Burgess, Megan Dunn (Matt) and Jake Cusack; her stepgrandchildren, Nyssa (Josh), Sonja (Tiam) and Mikal Gashus; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Sophie Dunn, Kamden Kennedy, Hudson, Wyatt, Paislee and Eli Hartt; and her sisters, Jean Chambers, Donna Foley and Diane Carty (Robie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0).
