We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2023, at the age of 88, Joan Anne Moir (Windsor, Nova Scotia), born in Brantford, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Shaw and Floris Shaw (Beal); her husband Graham Moir; her sister Marjorie Woodley (Russell); and her close friend Marilyn Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Lorene Dimock (Carter Foley); her grandson Mitchell Dimock; her niece Karen Rosborough; her close friend Elizabeth Sexton; and her stepgrandchildren, Joanna Foley, Jamie Foley (Pam Manning), Mitchell Foley, Tanya Risser (Trevor) and Laura-Lee MacDonald (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
