He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Pender and Helen Pender (Druken); his wife Michelle; and his brother Augustus. He is survived by: his daughters, Natasha Osborne (Greg) of Greenwood and Angelina Fowler (Kris) of Windsor; his grandchildren, Halie, Tristan, Alex, Dominic, Trinity, Stephanie, Lyndon, Parker, Nick and Nolan; and his siblings, Judy, Ron, Glen (Trish), Kim, Colleen, Jenny and Lucky (Rod). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

We shared many conversations in the early morning hours while having coffee and cigarettes on the aft deck before the rest of the crew were even up and about.
