With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janet Louise Kirk in Windsor, Nova Scotia, born in Berwick, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Randall Jordan and Bessie Eilean Jordan (Ogilvie); her sister Carole Cassidy; and her nephew Timothy Cassidy. She is survived by: her husband Andrew "Andy" Kirk; her sons, Robert "Ted" Upshaw (Karen) and Randy Russell (Christine); her grandchildren, Graham Upshaw, Sean Upshaw, Kirsty Bodnarchuk (Steve), Desiree Upshaw, Tieasha Downey, Zachary Russell and Olivia Russell; her great grandchildren, Amelia Louise Bodnarchuk and Wren Bodnarchuk; her nieces and nephews, Michael Cassidy, Talli Perry (Craig), Kerri Leier (Sam Plante), Meredith Vair (Matthew), Christopher Jordan and Robert Jordan (Kerry); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan Cassidy (Sarah), Xander Leier, EvaJean Leier, Hannah Vair, Benjamin Vair, Margaret Jordan, Jeanette Jordan and Juniper Jordan; her siblings, Marion Leier (Scott) and Calvin Jordan (Joyce) of New Westminster, BC; and her sister-in-law Ruth Kirk.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Windsor United Church (613 King St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0).
