It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Arthur Grant Bremner (Windsor, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bremner and Ted Bremner of Upper Falmouth; and his wife Frances. He is survived by: his sister Jean; his daughters, Erin (Greg), Robin (Chris), Alyson (Nick) and Kathryn (Donnie); and his grandchildren, Erik, Alex, Ellie, Levi, Marijka, Iris, Myra, Seth, Annika, Jozefina (Kees) and Ruby.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0).

Donations in memory of Jim may be made to the West Hants Historical Society (Make a donation - West Hants Historical Society).

“My condolences goes out to the family on the loss of your father/grandfather: Jim A.G Bremner. I have a card here for you all, however, I forgot to give it to Greg when he was up to visit me. Everything aside, Jim was a mentor to me since I was 16 when I started working on the Bremner farm and working side by side with him in the woods over 32 years, I enjoyed every minute with Jim.
