He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Lowthers and Lorrena Lowthers (Wile); his granddaughter Alyssa Patricia; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Ted Smith; and also Mason Gordon Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lowthers (Smith) of Surrey, BC; his daughters, Wendy Lowthers and Melanie Hernandez (Reynaldo); his grandson Perry Hernandez; his sister Jean Smith (George); his nephew Brad; and his niece Amy.
