With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ida Jane Shaw (Windsor, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mason and Blanche Mason (Boyd); her husband Gordon; her in-laws, Vernon and Thelma Shaw (Phinney); her siblings, Robie, Harold, William, Robert (Margaret), James, John (Linda), Donald Mason (Margaret), Eleanor Edwards (Graham), Marguerite Logan (Perry), Sheila Marsh, Judy Matheson (Ronald) and Catherine Urquhart (Alex); and her brothers-in-law, David (Vivian), Stephen Shaw and Weldon Swinamer.
She is survived by: her children, James, Robert (Shelley), Suzanne (Mike Davis) and Sarah (Shawn Brown); her grandsons, Steven Shaw (Jenny), Ben Shaw (Amber), Joseph MacDonald, Mitchel and Kail Brown; her siblings, Gary Mason (Heather), Barbara Fleming (Ken), June Lorencovitch (Frank) and Betty Hunter (Bill); her siblings-in-law, Adeline, Winnie Mason, Florence Swinamer, Dorothy Collins (Leroy), Linda Keddy (Skip), Stewart Marsh, John (Heather) and Paul Shaw (Trudy); her friend Cheryl Palmer; her stepgrandchildren, Devon (Heather), CJ and Kyley (Jamie); and also, Maddie and Michael. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
