He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Payne; his children, Jason Payne (Danette Kunkel-Payne), Melissa Payne (Richard Brown), Meg Bertrand (Ted) and Jill Payne; his grandchildren, Nick Payne, Kaleigh Payne, Lena Payne, Luke Brown, Eric Bertrand, Evan Bertrand and Loë Payne; his sister Barbara Minorgan; and his nieces, Tiffany Minorgan and Kristin Minorgan-Pinto.
