He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Northup and Esther Northup (Ward); his son Dean; and his siblings, Harold, Irving, Claude, Geraldine and Flossie.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Michael (Delores), Grace (Roy) and Pamela (Mitch); his grandchildren, Tamara (Gordon), Austin, Shane (Kate), Cody (Hannah) and Christian (Julia); his great grandchildren, Logan, Athena, Braunwynn, Norah and Lena; and his siblings, Eric (Joyce), Howard (Debbie), Garnet, Marguerite (Ron) and Marie (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
