He was predeceased by: his parents, Fulton Etter and Mary Etter (Cochran); and his siblings, Harold, Clare, Barb Etter, Ina Smith and Norma Bateman.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Davis; his children, Trina Deal and Craig Etter; his grandsons, Philip Deal (Kirsten), Colin Deal and Jared Deal; and his siblings, Lorne (Barbara), Keith (Carol), Garlands Crossing and Shirley Cochrane (Channing). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
