He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Hendy and Eleanor Hendy (Nelson); his brother Ronald; his sister-in-law Carole; and his grandfather Geo.

He is survived by: his wife Blanche Hendy (Green); his children, Robert (Donna), Carl of Fort MacMurray, AB and Nancy Breau of Colpitts Settlement, NB; and his grandsons, Christopher and Brandon Breau.
