He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lyon and Lillian Lyon (Riley); his brother David; and his former wife Judy (Barker). He is survived by: his wife Betty (Nunn); his children, Shelley Lyon of Windsor, NS, Rebecca Leighton (Cayle) of Poplar Grove, NS and James Lyon (Michelle) of Summerville, NS; his grandchildren, Zoe, Colton, Seth (Grace), Ronan and Jude; and his siblings, Earl (Anne), Roy (Juanita), Donald, Reg (Paulette), Ralph and Mildred Levy (Leonard). He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, an aunt and cherished friends.
