He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ashby and Marion Ashby (Jackson); and his sister Carolyn Walker. He is survived by: his wife Dayle Baxter-Ashby; his daughter Jo-Ann Hedges (Warren); his grandchildren, Saylor and Carson; his nephew Mike Walker (Connie); his nieces, Suzanne Walker and Christine MacFarlane (Frank); and his brother-in-law Clyde Walker.
