He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Boyd and Grace Boyd (King); his wife Margaret; his sons, Michael Boyd and Reg Boyd; his stepson Randy Fowler; and his siblings, Gordon Boyd of Harold Boyd, Amy Lockhart, Patsy Lunn and Susie Greenough.
He is survived by: his wife Mattie; his children, John Boyd (Debbie), Halifax, Barry Boyd (Krista) of Avonport, Jim Boyd, Belleville, Anne Huestis (Ron) of Bedford, Carolyn Armstrong (Bill) of Avonport and Florence Bartol (David) of Bedford; his siblings, Lillian Hergett of Windsor, Margie Nowlan (Lou) of Summerside, PE and Blair Boyd (Karen); his stepdaughters, Annette Falconer (Roy) of Bedford, Kimberly Burns (Tim) of Upper Kennetcook and Paula MacPhee (Randy) of Gore; his stepdaughter-in-law Sylvia Fowler of Upper Sackville; and also, Bonnie White (Lewis), North Noel Road and Walter Roulston (Eleanor) of Upper Rawdon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
