She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Burgess and Leila Burgess (McLellan); her husband Stanley Porter; her daughters, Linda Mason and Sharon Jessop; her siblings, Lilly Merritt, Peggy MacDonald, Julia Salter, Marina Carmichael, Franklyn and Harris "Bobby" Burgess; and her half-brother Les Patterson.
She is survived by: her sister Elsie Hartlin; and her half-brother Blaine Patterson (Helen). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as, extended family.
Donations in memory of Edna may be made to a charity of one's choice.
