Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Ray Rushton (Windsor, Nova Scotia), born in Pugwash, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 65, on June 24, 2020. He was predeceased by: his father Leon Rushton; and his grandparents, Lamert and Georgie Rushton (Rushton). He is survived by: his girlfriend Sandra Lee Starratt (Trask); his stepgrandchildren, Simon, Emelia Pitman, Taylor and Kaitlyn Starratt; his stepmother Donna Rushton (Murphy); his mother Katherine Rushton; his siblings, Anne Carter (Isaac Adams), Tim Rushton (Linda), Kelvin Rushton (Donna), Gina Rushton (Dana), Shawn Rushton (Stephanie), Todd Rushton (Jane), Jeannie Weatherbee (Andrew) and Gordie Maberry (Corrine); and his cousin Harold Dickson. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held, for family and friends to attend, at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Brooklyn, Hants County, with Rev. David Curry officiating on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 2 p. m. (following social distancing rules due to pandemic regulations).
